Last November 2013, in line with Insular Health Care’s strategy to increase brand awareness in 2014, the company asked all its employees to submit entries that best describe our commitment to its members. It was envisioned that this pledge will constantly remind all of us to deliver the best service to our clientele.
From the numerous entries, the company chose “Kalingang Insular Health Care” as its Service Brand. According to Jinky Lanuza, Providers Relations Supervisor and the sender of the winning entry, she “wanted to describe the special Filipino way caring for those in need.”
Just as it would have been easier to say “alaga”, the word kalinga evokes a more tender, humane, motherly, and nurturing way of taking care of a loved one. It is definitely something we promise to give to all our members.
Starting this year, Insular Health Care is devoting time and resources to deliver this servicing brand. Various programs and workshops are lined up for the management and staff to ensure that everyone understands and deliver Insular Health Care’s way of providing service. We will make it our solemn oath to give all our members the kind of service that they truly deserve – “Kalingang Insular Health Care.”
