Insular Health Care (IHC) is partnering with Trinity University of Asia (TUA) for the latter’s “IHC Sales Academy.” A Memorandum of Agreement signing ceremony was held last August 17, 2017 at the executive conference hall of TUA in Quezon City.
The Insular Health Care Sales Academy, with a tag line, “from care to career” is a sales career development program that aims to attract start-up entrepreneurs towards building their own business thru HMO selling. It offers a comprehensive and extensive training program that will develop the apprentices into highly skilled, motivated and results-oriented Health Care Agency Leaders of Insular Health Care. Successful Health Care Agency Leaders will be compensated with attractive monetary and self-enriching rewards. Insular Health Care is tapping the alumni of Trinity University of Asia to kick-off this unique program.

In line with the company’s brand awareness campaign, Insular Health Care (IHC) participated in the 13th Korean Product Festival event held last July 14-16, 2017 at the SMX Convention Center, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. Insular Life, IHC’s parent company also participated in the exhibit.
The 3-day activity was organized by the Overseas Korean Traders Association (OKTA) which is composed of different Korean companies that promote their products and services in the Philippines. Exhibitors include those engaged in electronics, food, health and beauty products.
Over 200 participants visited the Insular Health Care and Insular Life booth. Lucky visitors received corporate premium items and exciting giveaways.

The contract signing ceremony was held last June 30, 2017 at the 5/F Insular Life Board Room, Insular Health Care Building, Makati City.

The Sugar Industry Foundation, Inc. (SIFI) has renewed its partnership with Insular Health Care, Inc. (IHC). As its HMO provider, Insular Health Care will continue to provide access to health care services to the employees and dependents of SIFI and its member organizations. The contract signing ceremony was held last May 29, 2017 at Nature’s Village Resort, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Established in 1971, SIFI is a non-profit organization set-up to institutionalize the amelioration of sugar workers and their families in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. It is implementing programs on Education, Health and Enterprise Development.

Insular Health Care joined the Association of First Philippine Industrial Park Locators, Inc. (AFLI) Bubble Run event last May 28, 2017 at the AFLI Compound, Sto. Tomas, Tanauan, Batangas City.
This year’s theme was “Common Home Care Fun Run.”
More than 3,000 runners participated in the 3K, 5K and 10k running category and took non-stop photos (“selfies” and “groufies”) together with their family, friends and colleagues while enjoying the bubbles splashed in the air.
The IHC team provided free BP reading in its booth. To add more fun and excitement, they also prepared a “Pick-an-Egg” game with winners receiving corporate premium items.
The event was organized as part of AFLI’s Corporate Social Responsibility and in support of good environment stewardship. It also promoted camaraderie among its employees and across the 67 active First Philippine Industrial Park (FPIP) locators. For Insular Health Care, it’s all about promoting health and wellness.

Insular Health Care steered the 5-day DMCI Homes’ onsite Annual Physical Examination (APE) last May 22-26, 2017 at the DMCI Homes Head Office in Makati City.
More than 1,000 employees of DMCI Homes had their routine medical examination as part of their comprehensive HMO program with IHC.
In line with its health and wellness campaign, Insular Health Care brought in its lifestyle partners such as Pik-Nik, Mary Kay, Inc., Live Imagination Philippines, Euroasia Pharmaceutical, Inc., Herbal Life and Human Heart Nature. They provided value added experiences thru promotions of their products and services. Insular Health Care joined Triple I 7th Annual Commissioner’s Bowling Cup held last May 18, 2017 at the AMF Puyat Superbowl, Makati Square, Makati City.
The event was organized by The Society of Independent Insurance Intermediaries Philippines, Inc. (Triple I) in honor of newly appointed Insurance Commission (IC) Commissioner Dennis B. Funa who also led their traditional rolling of the ceremonial ball.
The twelve (12) participating teams from the insurance, HMO and other allied industries included BPI / MS Insurance, Cocolife, Insular Health Care, Insurance Commission, Liberty Insurance, Malayan Insurance, Oriental Assurance, Pioneer Insurance, Republic Surety & Insurance, Sun Life Financial, UCPB General Insurance and Western Guarantee. Each company had five (5) representatives who played in the four (4) bowling series. All team players and their support groups had fun playing while chatting and bonding with one another.
The winners of the tournament were Malayan Insurance (Champion), Oriental Assurance Corporation (1ST Runner Up) and Sun Life (2nd Runner Up).

2017 INSULAR HEALTH CARE SUMMER GETAWAY

The sun is out, the heat is on. Time to unwind. Time to relax! This summer season, Insular Health Care family was off to Nagcarlan, Laguna for its summer getaway. Everyone was feeling excited as they left the company premises and headed south to Villa Gregoria Resort on the morning of May 06, 2017.
And after almost 3 hours of travel, the team reached its destination of fun and bonding. Once settled, some excitedly plunged into the pool and took their turn dipping and swimming. The others explored the scenic views of Villa Gregoria Resort and took pictures (“selfies” and “groufies”) surrounded by greeneries that came with a refreshing breeze. Such a perfect moment to chill while enjoying the lovely and sunny day. Everyone also feasted at the buffet lunch while chatting and bonding with one another.
Amidst beautiful scenery, fresh air and good food, everyone felt recharged and thankful for the wonderful time. The recollections of this year’s summer getaway will surely be treasured by each one.
